Storm

Storm is an extra large home-made cotton candy machine which propels the cotton candy high up in the air. Creating a vortex every once in a while, it will form clouds at the ceiling, which inevitably will come crashing down. However you can just grab it out of the air and stick it in your mouth, it's fully edible! This one of the projects I worked on with Zoro Feigl, you should really check out his website www.zorofeigl.nl for some more cool stuff.

The Money and the Power

Minigun made out of 10 pounds of chocolate with a hidden chocolate chip cookie core. Mo' money, mo' power!

Body builder

Another project made in San Francisco. In this one I spent three weeks in training like a body builder. Going to the gym every day, some days even twice, eating all the right foods and protein shakes, no alcohol. At the end of those three weeks I gave a presentation in the lecture hall at the SFAI, including body builder poses. Living the American dream, truly believing you can be whatever you want to be.

Robot

A very early work. The robot contained a motion sensor. It would start convulsing and roll it's eyes as anyone came near.

Mexican Deathfest

video
The video was made to be an endless loop of a character munching on breakfast cereal, never getting full. The original soundtrack was bone crunching, but unfortunately of too low quality. For now it has been replaced with something a little more Mexican, whereas in the future it'll be replaced by another crunching track.

Loop

A living sculpture or a performance as this one consists of a white circular stage which spins around at such a pace that the soldier on top seems to stay in the same place while walking. If he fails to do so the spinning will induce nausea, encouraging the soldier to keep on walking.

I can't believe I'm not butter!

video
"I can't believe I'm not butter!" was made in San Francisco. It was based on monster movies like The Incredible Melting Man, but also on obesity and obviously a well known product not unlike butter.
